5. Easy to Clean - One thing that's really important when you have a birdcage is that it's easy to clean. This is not only good for you it's good for the birds health as well. Make sure that the cage that you buy has a removable plastic tray at the bottom. Anything that makes the cleaning of the cage easier is a good thing, for you as well as for the bird.
